Bore: Large Bore CL (.462) Perfect for a big tone in both Solo/Symphonic work.
Leadpipe: Upgraded ($190) to an optional Blackburn/Louisville 19-350 leadpipe Blackburn Trumpets which produces a fuller, more resonant tone with better intonation than the standard 25C pipe.
Overall Condition: Excellent. Lacquer is 97%. A few very minor dings on the bell from mutes. Leadpipe is clean and this horn was just chemically cleaned.
Tone: Commanding, Resonant, Lively, and Powerful. This Strad was chosen from about a dozen other C's at Osmun's Music back in 1994. It was seldom used by its owner who played Jazz gigs night and day on his Blackburn Bb and hardly ever played Classical or Symphonic music.
